GARISSA - Deputy President H.E William and Garissa Governer today joined H.E Ali Bunow Korane Ruto to commission 6 boreholes funded by the County Government of Garissa today, local media reported.
The boreholes, Iftin and ADC areas are part of the more than 120 flagship projects under the The Korane Manifesto administration.

"My administration is feverishly undertaking a sustainable roadmap towards solving the perennial problems of access to water in the peripheral and marginalized areas of Garissa town by complimenting the existing supply" said Governer Korane speaking to the Press at Bulla Iftin and ADC.
New Government Partnerships
DP Ruto has reassured us of the commitment of the national government in partnering with the county government in ending the water problems in the county.
The Governor later joined DP Ruto, political and religious leaders at Garissa Primary School grounds for a fundraiser in aid of Muslim Madarasas.
Ruto, Duale Fundraise For Madarasas
"I expressed my commitment in supporting dugsis and madrasas. It's in this regard that I have established the Directorate of Religious Affairs. My adminstration has financed 18 religious institutions this financial year and we intend to fund 24 such institutions in the coming year" added Governor Korane flanked by the DP.
Duale Commissions County-Dekabure Road 22 KM Tarmac
He later accompanied National Assembly Majority Leader and Garissa Township MP Hon. Aden Bare Duale during the official commissioning of County-Dekabure Road and a network of 22km stretch of tarmac roads within Garissa town by H.E Ruto.
Garissa KMTC Bus Gets Ruto Bus
The DP and Governor entourage also visited Kenya Medical Training College as DP Ruto delivered a college bus to the institute.
